Acrylic dentures are made with pink (or pigmented) acrylic which fits around the existing teeth, and which holds the replacement teeth in position. The benefits of these dentures are that if there are any further losses of natural teeth in a patient's mouth, replacement teeth can be added to these dentures with relative ease. If there have been any changes to the supporting gums, the same denture can be 'relined' to improve the fit.
